The Partridge Family is an American television sitcom about a widowed mother and her five children who embarked on a music career. The family lived in San Pueblo, a small fictional town in Northern California. The series was originally broadcast on ABC from 1970 to 1974.
In the pilot episode, a group of musical siblings convinces their mother to help them out by singing with them as they record a pop song in their garage. Through the efforts of the 10-year-old son Danny, they find a manager who helps make the song a Top-40 hit. After some more convincing, Mom finally agrees that the family can go on tour. They acquire an old school bus, paint it and depart to Las Vegas for their first live gig at Caesars Palace. [wikipedia] Love to watch the ending of the show where there is a sign at the back of the bus which says "Careful Nervous Mother Driving".

Beauty and the Beast is a 1991 American animated feature produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation. It premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on November 13, 1991 and is the thirtieth film in the Walt Disney Animated Classic series. The film is based on the fairy tale of the same name about a beautiful woman kept in a castle by a horrific monster. It is the only full-length animated feature film to ever be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture. Heightening the level of performance in the era known as the Disney Renaissance (1989–1999, beginning with The Little Mermaid and ending with Tarzan), many animated films following its release have been influenced by its blending of traditional animation and computer generated imagery.
Tale as old as time, True as it can be
Barely even friends, Then somebody bends
Unexpectedly
Just a little change, Small to say the least
Both a little scared, Neither one prepared
Beauty and the Beast
Ever just the same, Ever a surprise
Ever as before, Ever just as sure
As the sun will rise
Tale as old as time, Tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange, Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
Certain as the sun, Rising in the east
Tale as old as time, Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast
Tale as old as time,Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast, Beauty and the beast

Love to watch Michael (Charles Ingalls) who set a very good example as a great person, husband, friend, and father who truly takes good care of the family and inculcate virtue in the young against the vast contrast of the mean Mrs Oleson. We rarely have this sort of "values" series nowadays and hoping and wishing some producers and directors to film more of this kind.
Hart to Hart is an American television series starring Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers. The series was created by writer Sidney Sheldon and produced by Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg. It ran from 1979 to 1984 on the ABC Television Network.
Jonathan Hart (Robert Wagner) was a self-made millionaire and the CEO of Hart Industries, a globalconglomerate. His wife Jennifer (Stefanie Powers) was a beautiful freelance journalist. Living the jetset lifestyle, the glamorous couple spent their free time as amateur detectives and in every episode they found themselves involved in cases of smuggling, theft, international espionage and, most commonly, murder. At their opulent Californian home, they were assisted by Max (Lionel Stander), their loyal, gravelly-voiced butler, cook, and chauffeur who also helped out in their "cases". The Hart's pet dog was "Freeway", named so because he was a stray they had rescued when he was found wandering on the freeway. [wikipedia]
"Colors of the Wind" by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz was the 1994 Oscar-winner for Best Original Song from the Disney animated feature film Pocahontas. It also won the Golden Globe in the same category as well as the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Movie. The song poetically presents the Native American viewpoint that the earth is a living entity where humankind is connected to everything in nature.
The song was performed within the movie's narrative by Judy Kuhn as the singing voice of Pocahontas. Singer/actress Vanessa Williams recorded a version for the end credits which was successfully released as a single and became one of Williams' biggest hits in 1995, earning a Gold single for sales of 500,000 copies, and reaching #4 on the U.S. charts.
In the song, Pocahontas attempts to explain to John Smith about the wonders of the earth and nature including the spirit within all living things, encouraging him not to think of them as things he can conquer or own, but rather as beings to respect and live with in harmony. She also urges him to accept humans who are different in appearance and culture and to learn from them.
The first line of the chorus tells of the wolf crying to the blue corn moon with the second line varying with the verse context. The second time the chorus is sung in the single version, the second line becomes "Or let the eagle tell you where he's been" from the original "Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned," likely because of the addition of a third chorus to the song that uses the original's second chorus "For whether we are white or copper-skinned." The third line tells of singing with the voices of the mountains, as the fourth line concludes with the title imagery of painting with the colors of the wind.
You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
Or let the eagle tell you where he's been?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
How high will the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains

Reminiscing the sweet and sour memories of an adolescent 1946-Baby Boomer-1964 way back into the black and white TV and silver screen days. Hope to create another great compilation of movie themes just for old times sake..
