Doctor Zhivago is a 1965 film directed by David Lean based on a novel by Boris Pasternak relating to events happened during World War 1. The cast involves KGB General Yevgraf Zhivago (Alec Guinness), poet and doctor Yuri Zhivago (Omar Sharif), and his mistress Larissa ("Lara") Antipova (Julie Christie). Music score "Lara's Theme" by Maurice Jarre which became one of the most popular in cinematic history.

ജ Yasmin Ahmad 1958-2009 R.I.P.

Yasmin Ahmad (July 1, 1958 - July 25, 2009) was a critically-acclaimed multi-award winning film director, writer and scriptwriter from Muar, Johor Malaysia. Gone too soon another great person who shared the same breaking barriers of colors and race as MJ has left us. Yasmin Ahmad has died from massive bleeding in the brain after a three day battle in hospital. A great loss to Malaysians and the film industry.
